Terms of use

1. The service

The site is a search engine over used-vehicle listings that dealers publish on their own public websites. It shows the facts of a listing (vehicle, price, mileage, location, dealer) with an image, and links to the dealer's page. Searching is free and needs no account. A free account adds saved cars that follow you across devices. You may support the site with a tip through Ko-fi; tips are voluntary and non-refundable except at our discretion. What the site stores in your browser, including the cookie notice and its Essential and Analytics categories, is described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy; "Your privacy choices" in the footer of every page reopens your preferences.

2. Not a seller, not an agent

We do not sell vehicles, take payments for vehicles, hold inventory, or act for any dealer or buyer. Every transaction is between you and the dealer, on the dealer's terms. Prices, availability, mileage and other facts come from the dealer's page at the time we last read it and can be wrong or out of date; confirm everything with the dealer before relying on it. Asking-price comparisons describe matching listings within our index and are not appraisals or advice.

3. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to hold an account. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person. We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service, and you may delete yours at any time from the account page, which deletes what it stores. Alert emails are sent because you asked for them and stop when you turn them off or delete the account.

4. Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the site's operation (for example by automated requests designed to overload it), scrape it at volume without asking, re-host listing photos, or use it to harass anyone. The JSON API is available for light, identified use as described in the help center; heavier use needs our agreement. Publishers who prefer not to be indexed can use the removal page.

5. Intellectual property

The site's design, code and explanatory text belong to Elowin Labs LLC. Vehicle facts are not owned by anyone. Listing photographs belong to the dealers or their photographers; removal requests go through the removal page. AI-generated illustrations, where shown, are not photos of the actual vehicle and do not establish its appearance or condition. Check the dealer's own photos and confirm details with the dealer. Vehicle makes, models and badges are trademarks of their manufacturers, used only to identify the vehicles.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY LISTING IS ACCURATE, CURRENT OR AVAILABLE, THAT ALERTS WILL BE TIMELY OR COMPLETE, OR THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELOWIN LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM A VEHICLE PURCHASE OR FROM RELIANCE ON A LISTING OR ALERT. BECAUSE THE SITE IS FREE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS.

8. Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue the site, or these terms, at any time. Changes take effect when posted here; account holders get an email for material changes.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms removes rights that the law of your place of residence grants you and that cannot be waived by contract.
