How your search works
We read dealer websites
Facts only: year, make, model, price, mileage, dealer. No descriptions, no page text.
You search once
Type it the way you would say it: 2019 4Runner under 35k, your zip, how far you would drive. Typos are fine.
The dealer gets the click
Every result links straight to the dealer's own page. No lead forms, no middleman, no sponsored placement.
What is in the index
Explore the dealer directoryVehicle details
Used and certified pre-owned vehicles from dealer websites that allow crawling. Each listing keeps year, make, model, trim, price, mileage, transmission, drivetrain, fuel, colors, VIN, dealer name and location, and an image.
Dealer locations can come from the listing's seller address, including a seller record explicitly linked within the same page. Ambiguous links do not place a car at another store. A separate "Located at" label is shown only when it reads as a store name; otherwise we show the seller. Map positions may use ZIP or town centers.
When drivetrain is missing from a dealer's structured vehicle data, an explicit specification for the same VIN can fill it. Unclear or conflicting specifications stay blank.
Keeping listings current
Listings are checked regularly. "Price checked" dates our last check of the primary dealer page when recorded. Page and inventory sightings appear separately in Listing activity and do not recheck the displayed price. Opening an older listing can bring its next fact check forward within our regular crawl limits. A listing that disappears from the dealer's site is retired. Price drops are shown when we have seen a higher price before.
Every night a random hundred of the live listings are read again and compared with what the site showed. Over the last seven days, 74% of the 437 cars re-checked showed the same price, mileage and availability.
Coverage is a selection of dealer inventory, not every car for sale. Update frequency varies by site and vehicle; recent interest and overdue checks help prioritize it. A fresh inventory sitemap alone does not confirm a vehicle’s current price. Listings whose information becomes too old can be held out of search until checked again.
Vehicle illustrations
AI-generated illustrations, where shown, are not photos of the actual car. They depict a vehicle model; the year, color, trim and condition may differ. Check the dealer's own photos for the car's actual appearance and condition.
What is not
Website hosting providers are not dealer sources; a dealer's own hosted site is considered separately. Private-party sites and marketplaces such as CarGurus, Autotrader and Cars.com are not indexed. Our result counts cover only the dealer listings in our index. Dealer sites whose pages carry no vehicle data are not indexed either. See the home page for current coverage and the dealer directory for the sites in our index.
Search tips
Type naturally: 2019 4runner under 35k near 33460, manual miata, f-150 4wd under 60k miles. Years, price ceilings, mileage ceilings, zip codes, transmission, drivetrain and fuel are picked out of the text. The filter panel does the same thing with menus, and body type comes from the model when the dealer does not say. Suggested can introduce a mix of nearby dealers for broad searches. Choose Nearest first or Newest first for strict distance or recency order; the sorting guide explains the default.
